New Week, New Day, New Life

Today everything is changing in our lives.

We both woke up excited and scared in our house today, neither one of knowing how we were going to do this. How we are going to cope with the new demands? The new trials and the differences in what we are doing.

But at the same time we woke both so pleased to be putting behind the things before today. They are now officially in the past, and we are both so happy but I think Mr L is a little more happy than me.

We are both starting new jobs today! Mr L left at 5.30am to drive over to Brighton to get started on his induction, in his new van! He has been so unhappy in his previous job for weeks and weeks. Last week came a climax when he was told he HAD to do something or he is was fired. At the time he was really angry but felt that he had no other option. He is our main wage earner and he couldn’t see a way out of not doing what was being told of him!

After a little calming down, this statement actually got his butt into gear and by the end of the week he had a new job. He is very excited and for a change this weekend he actually smiled. I haven’t seen him do that in a long time, he can now see a future again and that makes me happy.

As for me, Brew Drinking Thinkings is launching today, I wrote about the launch before, explaining that I was the new Craft Writer and today is the day of the launch. I am so excited. There will be more news on this later today.

But there is double excitement for me last week the wonderful Lena from Freelance Media who runs a Virtual Assistant Service sorted out all of my online shops and admin services for my new business Scrapbookerry so the online shopping experience is ready to be launched and coincidentally there will also be a Scrapbookerry shop on Brew Drinking Thinking’s. So very exciting and very busy.

We are form filling, making, creating, writing and learning new rules and trades this week so here’s to the future.
