It has been a long long time since I have done a MyMemories post I have to be honest, scrapbooking, photos and memory keeping has taken a bit of a back seat in the past few months.
Looking at old photos has definitely become a little raw but I am slowly dipping my fingers back in it and it is always going to be first love and something I can not actually stay away from for long. As it really does bring me so much joy to see completed albums and doing things that bring me joy is something I am definitely aiming to do this year.
The freebies this week are lovely but I have actually done something a little different with one of them this time.

I actually used this embellishment to make a little thank you card for Christmas this year, instead of a page.
This is the front of the card, so simple, but striking, and straight to the point. I have never thought to use the MyMemories software to make cards before, but it is so easy to do and opens a huge amount of opportunities! Its exciting to see where this will go.
The second freebie is another lovely embellishment.

I used this freebie to make a nice quick little page.
I love that this is a black and white page with a splash of colour. It really makes the page stand out and was super easy and quick to do and makes the boat picture stand out massively.
