Indoor Fairy Garden

Anyone who reads this blog will know that I love a fairy garden, I have attempted one a few times and each time it has all gone wrong, either the weather has destroyed it or the dogs have destroyed it. So after this winter I was left once again with no fairy garden but still determined to have one day.

Last week Lavenderlily were selling some gorgeous fairy garden items, and I knew it was time to attempt a fairy garden again.

I ordered lots of little bits, and waited for them to come.

When they arrived, I tried to decide the best place to put them, and whether they would be better in the front or back garden. In the end I decided that neither of these would do, all of the items where far to gorgeous to be put outside and I didn’t want the dogs to get anywhere near any of the items.

So that made me think of somewhere else to put them, and I had to decide where it was going to be.

Somewhere that was save, out-of-the-way of dogs, prying hands and anything that could break or ruin these tiny little items that I brought for my new fairy garden.

This was a little harder to think off, in the end I decided to think out of the box a little bit, and decided on an indoor fairy garden.

fairy garden, indoor fairy garden, fairies, gardens, girlie, imagination,

This was the perfect idea, it is safe, away from little hands, dogs, and the best thing is because it is indoor, we are using it as an alternative table decoration for the island and it means we all get to see it everyday. Which I absolutely love.

It isn’t a complicated piece, as it is on the table, it is made with two plant pot trays rather than a large pot, which works really well, as each item is really small and it means it doesn’t take up too much space but everything is in proportion for the effect that I wanted to achieve.

Overall it is a fantastic effect and I love it, along with everyone else in the house.

I am super happy as I finally have my perfect little fairy garden that has taken me quite a few years to get and I adore it.
