Homemade Wreath

This year I decided I really wanted a homemade wreath.

So off I went to Hobbycraft, and brought all my supplies. This is not an ad of any sort. I found these myself and brought them all.

I already had my glue gun so I didn’t need that.

But I got a wreath in a box with some greenery and some other bits and bobs to put on the wreath and also brought some etc bags of little items to stick on it.

And it actually got put to one side for quite a while.

Today, after a few stressful days I decided instead of doing all the things that I needed to do, the stressful stuff instead I would finally make my wreath.

I have to admit I had great fun with my supplies and my glue gun.

Although I did burn my finger, every single time.

But I absolutely love my finished wreath.

It is full of natural looking pieces.

With sticks, berries and dried fruit.

And I love the colours too, it matches our door perfectly.

I really did have so much fun making it and it makes me smile as I walk down the path as I see it.

It is something I am really pleased I did this year.

Something that was just for me.

A little time doing something I really really love.

It’s such a simple craft, but one that is very dramatic and makes such a gorgeous piece for your home. It is definitely one I would do again.
