Garden Inspiration

This is currently our front garden, the grass is dying and that tree has died.

It is a completely wasted space and I want to do something with it but am not entirely sure.

I am not a gardener at all.

I had a vague idea of growing veg out here, but Mr L pulled a right face at that we have tried that before in the back garden and it never worked that well.

But I would love to give it another go.

Currently we have two borders one by the house and one along the path to the house.

The one by the house actually needs the plants moved, see I am that much of a gardener I don’t even know what these are called.

But I do know they are getting to big to be that close to the house and the window and they need to be moved.

But the rest of it I have no clue.

We don’t even own a lawnmower the grass has to be cut by my dad. As we have no means to cut it.

So I have a few choices as far as I can see.

Get rid of the grass and have vegetable patches and some gravel of some kind.

Get rid of the grass and have an area for Rhianna with some nice flowers and garden ornaments and then other flowers around a slate or gravel pathway.

Take out the grass, have sections as gravel or slate and the rest as flower borders all around the front garden.

One thing I know is I want the grass gone, but what else I want is still a bit of a mystery to me.

So if anyone has any ideas then please let me know. As it definitely needs to be changed in some way.
