Bank Holiday Monday

Our bank holiday Monday has been really quiet.

We had a morning doing nothing, we woke up late and potted around until it was nearly midday and it was time to go and collect BB from Scouts camp.

This camp was his first Scout Camp but his second district camp and he really did love it.

He was knackered when he came home, and has been super grumpy for the rest of the day.

But he was smiling, he has done shooting with crossbows, paddle boarding and some wood branding, bringing home his own handmade wooden coaster. Which is super cool I have to admit, and Mr L and I were both super impressed with the look of the coaster.

Once we collected him and he had a quick change at home we then went and had dinner at friends and spent the afternoon there.

It has been a lovely but quiet and chilled day today and too be honest that we all needed. And something I am glad we got to do before the mayhem of school starts again tomorrow.

Luckily only for a couple of weeks before the boys are on half term again!

It seems to be the strangest few weeks at the moment with all these bank holidays!

Not that I am complaining as it is lovely to have everyone at home all together without the routine of school.
