A Generation of Books
I think anyone that reads this blog knows that I love books.
I love to read and it really is one of my favourite past times.
BB also loves to read and will devour a book when he finds it interesting and Boo is really heading in the same direction.
I have always loved to read to them and love the time you get with them when reading a bedtime story.
But I especially love it when we are reading a book that used to be mine, as the boys have a fair few that have come from my parents house that I read as a child.

This is one of those books.
And was actually one of my ultimate favourite books as a child.
I loved it a lot when I was little so much so that we had to tape up the carpet holder on the front page when I was a child.
It is a book that the kids can get involved in as the carpet moves through slits from page to page and it is one that BB loved and one that Boo still loves to this day.

It is quick to read as you can skip all the speech bubbles or you can read them all if you want to.
So it can be a short or longer story and it is one that means a lot in our house as it has been read over and over and over again.
I am not sure where I got it from originally and have to say I have never seen it before and not sure if you cab even buy it. But if you ever see it is a fab little book and I would totally recommend it.
It is one that brings back so many memories.
Memories of my mum reading it to me, of me reading it, off reading it to BB and off reading it to Boo.
It is a special meaningful book in our house one that won’t be chucked and one that in years to come will be read to any future generations in this family.
