A Craft Room Again
It’s been a while since I have even attempted to write a post, mainly because our house has been completely and utterly upside down.
After years of having the spare room as a bit of a man cave, and a space for any guests to sleep we decided to turn it back into a craft room, something it was years ago when the boys were little.
Honestly it was a job and a half and we still have a lot to do in the house now but we are finally a bit more organised.
And even know the house has been a complete and utter mess the last week, and we still have a lot to do, moving the spare room back to a craft room was the absolute right, and best thing we could have done.
Since starting Rhianna Lily, Mr L has really got into his crafting as well.
Along with my scrapbooking, knitting, diamond art and all the other craft stuff I have and his 3D printing and resin items our craft stuff was actually taking over the house.
We had bits in the lounge, in the kitchen, in the bedroom and it was hard to know what was where and it was so cluttered, as you started something it spilled into something else and it was in all honesty chaotic and not the easiest to live with.
It was definitely time to get it all in one place and to make some sense of it all.

Thanks to these gorgeous cubes, everything finally has a place and it doesn’t all look so chaotic and unorganised.
We finally have place for all the crafts we both do.
We both have a table to work at.

We aren’t both trying to get to the same space to complete different things.

We can now work at the same time and make things in our own spaces and can leave things until we can get to them again instead of having to pack everything away every time we have to leave it.
This room has freed up the house and is going to be a proper space for Rhianna Lily Designs so we can both get creative and push along with our plans and ideas.
It has been a real labour of love and sweat thankfully no tears, and there is still a lot of things to do. Mainly things to sell that the boys no longer need or have outgrown, but once that is done the house will feel a lot lighter and full I am sure.
