A Bit of Decorating

This lockdown we have decided to be productive and do a bit of decorating around the house.

We actually have had a long list for quite a while but have just sat on it.

The last week we suddenly decided to get on top of it and have started with a boom.

There have been many things niggling us both in the house for a while.

The first being the ensuite we first started decorating this when we first moved in and have never actually finished it.

Then we have issues in our bedroom, the hallway, the main bathroom, the shower room, kitchen and lounge.

They aren’t major issues, some have been started and not finished, some haven’t been changed since before BB was born, and some just need a freshen up with the dogs and the kids in the house all the time, quite literally for the last year.

So we have decided to get on top of it and actually get some things sorted so that we can come out of this hopefully with a house that we all love.

This week we have been working hard in the ensuite, it isn’t completely finished yet, there are still a few things to do.

But it is so much better than it used to be.

It looks amazing to how it did look, and I really can’t wait for it to be completed over the next couple of days.

And to finally have one room that we have never had fully finished in the last 14 years finally completed!

Its going to be a very exciting day!

But it means that we are super busy, and even though this week has been long it has also flown by as we have been busy all week with all the various things that we have been doing.

But I can’t wait for it all to be finished to be honest as I am really fed up with looking at all these issues and would just like everything to be completely finished and sorted now!

Its going to be a few hectic weeks, but when it is all finished it will be fabulous!
