Alphabet Project – B Is For Beagles
It started with our friends dog Nutmeg, 7 years ago.
It developed with Tito seven years ago.
Two years ago it grew with Buddy.
It got broken with Tito dying this year.
And it is being repaired with Norman
And Buddy is being repaired with Norman too.
They aren’t a normal dog.
They steal your heart,
Your pants,
Your socks,
Chew phones, remote controls,
Shoes, carpets, stairs
And mortgage money to name a few.
They run away
They make you scream in frustration
Cry in anger
But they snuggle like no other
They love like no other
And our house forever more will be a beagle house.

What a lovely post. We don’t have a dog, although my girls would love one and youngest’s first dog love was a Beagle called Spencer that we met on a holiday in Cornwall (in fact he even has his own facebook page!) I love the idea of a dog that snuggles!
Beagles really do give the best dog snuggles! xx
