We don’t really have anything in our garden for Rhianna. Each year we try to grow lilies and they are fine at first, and then they die, and I can’t get them to regrow again. However hard I try.
But it is something that I have always wanted to do.
We can’t add a lot to her grave, and to be honest when we get a headstone, there literally will be no more space up there. So I want something that can be added to, decorated with regards to the seasons, or for Christmas and her Birthday.
So I want something in our garden, something away from the dogs, so it firstly grows, secondly we don’t have to then worry about poisonous plants to the dogs, and thirdly nothing of Rhianna’s will then be ruined by the dogs. So we decided long ago that whatever we did would be done in the front garden.
But we didn’t really get anywhere except for some trees.
And then I thought about a fairy garden.
It is perfect for Rhianna, a little tiny garden of beauty, all the pretty things that can grow, daisys, and simple flowers, a little fence, and a tiny peace of calm. A place to hang her signs, put her plaques and place for the boys to remember her. Think about her, decorate things for her, play with her garden, have a place to talk to her, a place to remember her that isn’t just a graveyard.
The more and more I thought about it the more and more it was just perfect, and Baba loved the idea, and Mr L loved the idea and I know that Boo will love it as he grows up.
So it was decided Rhianna would get a fairy garden, a little space all of her own at home, where she should be.
So today I got the first thing for her garden, a little fairy door, and pink as well which is even better.
A perfect pink door, for our perfect princesses fairy garden.
Now to plan the rest of her garden.
