This year I have been quite negative. I don’t want to be negative.
I want to be more positive.
Mr L is a naturally negative person, and both of us being negative is rubbing off on Baba he is becoming quite negative, only focussing on the bad things.
And I don’t want him to be like that.
I want us all to be positive, to be happier.
We are on a journey, not a journey we wanted or expected. But its our journey now and I don’t want it to be negative forever.
I have been thinking for a while that we should write gratitude journals. A journal where we record positives of our days things we are grateful for. Each and every day to try to make us happier more grateful and to focus on the good not on the bad.
Then I came across Embrace Happy and it was just what I was looking for. Namely the #3GoodThings, where you write down three good things every day. It is just what I am wanting to achieve and there is a whole other world of people out there doing the same.
I think it will be good for our minds, good for our souls and our spirits. I have got in a rut being sad for what we don’t have, being sad for how little I am doing and I need to see what I am doing and how little things turn to big things.
I need to appreciate the good.
Not dwell on the bad.
So we are going to start writing three good things down everyday, not just me but Baba and Mr L too.
And this year we are going to focus on the word LOVE it is a thing that surrounds us, that binds us together, all five of us, and a thing that we need to remember is there no matter what.
